Carol Cunha is a senior property manager in Kidder Mathews’ Sacramento office and brings with her almost 40 years of commercial real estate experience in the Sacramento market. She is energetic, positive, a creative problem solver, and has effectively managed through many economic conditions. Carol operated an independent consulting and management service for 25 years, where she managed a portfolio of over 700,000 square feet and has an extensive list of long term clients, including the Garaventa Company, the Milliani Insurance Trust, and the Musto Estate Company.
Carol has managed a wide range of commercial property types and is well versed in construction and project management. She also has excellent budgeting skills, CAM reconciliation experience, and accounting skills. Carol is experienced in handling difficult and challenging properties with maintenance and construction deficiencies, as well as maintaining excellent tenant relations.
Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Carol was a senior property manager with Colliers International. During her tenure with Colliers, Carol managed a 632,000 square foot retail portfolio. Previously, Carol was a property manager with Elliott Corporation and Williams and Associates where she managed a significant mixed use asset with 85 tenants. Carol significantly increased occupancy and operating income and headed up the property management operations for Pacific Scene, during their development of 1,200 apartment units and more than 500,000 square feet of multi-tenant industrial and retail properties.
Carol is a licensed real estate agent in the state of California. She is a member of IREM, BOMA, ICSC, a CCIM candidate, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in real estate and land use from California State University, Sacramento.
Carol has served as the IREM vice president of education and communications and vice president of programs, as well as the commercial education coordinator for Sacramento Association of Realtors and was instrumental in developing alliances with IREM and CCIM.
